Welcome to Class 1! I hope you have all had a wonderful Summer holidays and the children are ready and excited to start learning in Class 1.
I will be teaching in Class 1 alongside Mrs Meadows and Miss Collier our class teaching assistants. Where possible we like to be able to make the most of the school setting by using the local environment and places of interest. We cannot do this without a team of adult helpers! This term we have a town trail booked to look for local landmarks.
Children need a water bottle in school every day. We do get free fruit from the government for snack time which will be available during the afternoon but please could you provide a snack for the morning break. It has to be healthy- carrot sticks, banana, rice cakes (plain).
We are continuing to use tapestry in year 1 so please keep interacting with the app and uploading content. We will be sharing children's successes during snack time. Due to how many children may have new things to share it could take a few days to share your child's work.
